LINCOLN, NE — Today, Protect Our Rights, now Initiative 439, released its newest television ad. The ad, titled ALL OVER AGAIN, features Dr. Elizabeth Constance, a double-board certified OBGYN and Reproductive Endocrinologist who treats patients with a range of reproductive health and fertility needs. She explains how the current government abortion ban forces women to suffer multiple heartbreaks and losses because they must carry nonviable pregnancies to term or deliver a stillbirth because physicians are limited in the care they can provide. The :30-second ad will run across the state on broadcast and cable.
Members of the media are invited to attend a virtual press briefing and Q&A on Thursday, October 10, at 1:30 pm CDT to speak with Dr. Constance and two Nebraska women harmed by the current ban. RSVP here or to media@protectourrights.com.
“As a licensed medical professional, it’s important for me to speak up against the many lies that have been spread about Initiative 439,” said Dr. Constance. “Politicians are undermining our expertise and intruding into our exam rooms. I treat patients with pregnancy complications daily. The current ban makes it nearly impossible to fulfill our oath to provide proper care and prevent life-threatening situations altogether. It’s imperative to vote against 434 and vote for 439.”
